The Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISCM-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen sees itself as an international platform for dialog between science and practice in the field of supply chain management.
The mission of the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISCM-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen is to research complex problems in global value networks and to develop innovative concepts, methods and tools. We act as a bridge between academic research and practical solutions in supply chain management, especially in the areas of purchasing, logistics and transportation.
Our mission includes the promotion of the further development of supply chain management in industry, trade, services and the public sector. At the same time, we are dedicated to the education of young scientists and students. Our educational offering aims to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applicability, promote interdisciplinary collaboration and integrate sustainability aspects into supply chain management practice.
