The Association of ISCM-HSG plays a leading role in the application-oriented research and dissemination of innovative approaches for the supply chain management of the future in the German-speaking region.

The Association of ISCM-HSG contributes to the development of the next generation of concepts, methods and instruments in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing and transport of goods through the support of relevant application-oriented research projects at the University of St.Gallen.

As a platform across industries and institutions, the Association of ISCM-HSG is based between science and practice and strengthens the specific development of competence and the exchange of experience between and within companies due to its sponsored ISCM training. The exchange of experience also takes place in form of exclusive networking events (Management Board Summit SCM, Supply Chain Innovation Day, etc.).

The Association of ISCM-HSG offers various research and education services to its members and beneficiaries provided by the Institute of Supply Chain Management at the University of St.Gallen.

The Association of ISCM-HSG is focused on research and education activities on supply chain management, logistics, purchasing and transport of goods at the University of St.Gallen.

The support is only accessible to the Institute of Supply Chain Management at the University of St.Gallen. The members of the association pay contributions to the Association of ISCM-HSG e.V. and receive selected services from the Institute of Supply Chain Management in return (consideration ).

The contributions to be paid to the Association of ISCM-HSG e.V. can be declared as donations for billing purposes.In concrete terms, the Association of ISCM-HSG assigns the Institute of Supply Chain Managementat at the University of St.Gallen to provide selected services in favor of the Association of ISCM-HSG and thus its members.

The services to be provided in favor of individual members depend on the chosen membership category.In addition to services provided to individual members, the Association of ISCM-HSG may also issue contracts in the sense of consortium projects to the the Institute of Supply Chain Management at the University of St.Gallen. In this case, the institute prepares an appropriate offer (including the offsetting of counter-payments) to the Association of ISCM-HSG.

The Association of ISCM-HSG is an independent non-profit institution. It is neither personally nor institutionally merged with the Institute of Supply Chain Management of the University of St.Gallen or other institutions.The institute supports the operational work of the Association of ISCM-HSG by request.The association will be set up and will start operating from the first quarter of 2018.
