ISCM-HSG offers the following courses in the fall semester:

The master course «Management von Verkehrsunternehmen» offers a fundamental insight into special management aspects of logistics and (freight) transport companies. For this purpose, selected concepts from different areas are presented, whereby the contents and case studies cover the modes of road freight transport, rail freight transport, air freight as well as high and inland waterway transport in order to provide a holistic insight into the modes of transport in freight transport. The event will specifically address the following key topics: Players in the transport market, strategic positioning, organization, price management, capacity management, information and transport management, quality management, controlling and cost management, and sustainability management. In the context of guest lectures by practical speakers, a direct application reference of the course contents is shown.

This course provides a comprehensive look at the management of inter-firm supply chains and the role of networks in supply chain management. Students will be equipped to understand the economic challenges and necessities of supply chain management and to apply relevant concepts from the areas of demand management, operations management, supply management, and logistics management. The course covers all major areas of supply chain management, from logistics to manufacturing, and deals in detail with topics such as efficiency, resilience and sustainability of supply chains.
